In Lost Cities, two players compete to earn the most points by starting expeditions with cards numbered 2–10 in different colors. On each turn, a player draws a card, then either plays a card into an expedition or discards one. Cards in each expedition must be played in ascending order, so players must decide when to commit to an expedition and when to hold their cards. The game is played over three rounds, and the player with the most points wins.
