To play Shut the Box, each player takes turns rolling the dice and adding the numbers together. The player then closes down any combination of numbered tiles that equals the total rolled. Players continue rolling and closing tiles until they can no longer make a combination. When a player cannot make a move, their turn ends and they add up the numbers of the tiles that are still open. The player with the lowest score wins the round.
